Exhumations

As exhumation specialists, we offer advice to families who would like to relocate their loved ones grave, nationwide or internationally, to or from the UK.
In the UK, graves are either in general ground for which the Ministry of Justice issues a licence; or consecrated ground for which approval is at the discretion of the Church of England Diocesan Registrar.

Exhumations are most often requested in these circumstances: bury in the wrong grave because of financial or political considerations at the time or because families have relocated. Civil engineering projects can also have an impact on existing graveyards.
