We understand what a difficult time it is when a friend or relative dies while abroad. That is why we aim to take all of the red tape and difficulty away from you. Here are some of the key elements we can manage for you as part of our services:
- Full Repatriation services to and from any country in the world
- We are recognised by the majority of Consulates/Embassies abroad and have knowledge of their requirements relating to documentation.
- We have over 500 agents worldwide enabling us to take care of a repatriation anywhere in the World back to England. We take care of the removal from the hospital abroad, all the relevant documents and permits that are required, supply of a simple coffin for transportation purposes only, embalming, embassy visit if necessary and transfer to the airport.
- We care for the relatives and next of kin during their short stay abroad and can arrange for a counsellor to visit them if necessary.
- Translation services for death certificates
- We arrange charter and schedule flight bookings for the deceased to return to England as soon as possible
- We arrange for documentation to proceed through customs clearance as quickly as possible and arrange handling at the airport for the deceased to be collected from the aircraft
- We can arrange to unseal the coffin and remove zinc lining prior to delivery to the receiving UK Funeral Director
- We arrange to collect the deceased from the airport and transfer to the local funeral director of the family choice
- We alleviate any language problems often associated with probate when death occurs abroad
- Flight booking services, airway bill production and booking family tickets (special rates apply to most countries)
- Collection and delivery service throughout the UK 24hrs per day, 7 days week
We have developed a global counselling service for the relatives of the bereaved. Our aim is to provide counsellors in each country for those relatives or next of kin who are left on their own in the country where death takes place. These counsellors will assist with any official documentation required and provide support when it is required.
